“Manafith” Is the mandatory insurance system for foreign vehicles entering or passing through Saudi Arabia via its border crossings. It has been implemented throughout the Kingdom’s border crossings since 2002. 

Manafith Company started managing this portfolio as on behalf of insurance companies and as per regulations set by the Insurance Authority seeking to elevate the motor insurance sector’s service quality. Through it, Manafith Company presents supportive insurance services for non-Saudi vehicles entering or crossing the Kingdom, and manages, regulates, issues, and sells mandatory insurance policies (third party Liability insurance) to foreign vehicles according to a framework that ensures a fair, sequential, and unbiased distribution of insurance policies among insurance companies that in turn process claims. 

Through this portfolio, Manafith Company also oversees 13 land border crossings and 3 sea ports in the Kingdom. This step will further strengthen the establishment of an integrated motor insurance system managed by a single unbiased entity under supervision from Insurance Authority, especially with the adoption of digitalization and automation across services. 

Through Manafith Company seeks to establish an independent entity that applies the highest operational standards and maintains service excellence, acts as the representative of the Saudi insurance sector, and fairly safeguards the rights of customers and facilitate their processes.

The significance of Manafith Company’s and especially the companies operating within the sector, is demonstrated by marketing and selling of insurance policies and collecting subscription fees from insured parties according to the price list approved by the Executive Insurance Committee and Insurance Authority.
